How long will my painting project take?
Most residential painting projects take approximately 2–5 days, depending on the size of your home, the amount of preparation required, and the scope of work. Smaller projects may be completed in just one day, while larger projects can take a week or more. During your free estimate, we'll provide a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Do I need to move my furniture?
We take care of the heavy lifting, including moving furniture, protecting your floors and belongings, and preparing all surfaces before painting begins. We simply ask that you put away smaller personal items, valuables, and fragile belongings. Our goal is to make your painting experience as easy and stress-free as possible, while treating your home with the care it deserves.

Do you offer a workmanship warranty?
Every qualifying residential painting project comes with a three-year limited workmanship warranty.
If paint applied by Proper Painting peels, blisters or chips because of defective workmanship during the warranty period, Proper Painting will correct the affected areas at no additional charge for labour or replacement paint, subject to the written warranty terms.

We'll then work with your schedule to arrange convenient painting dates and get your project underway!
Prep, Paint & Clean-Up
We take care of every detail, from thorough surface preparation and minor repairs to protecting your floors, furniture, and belongings. Our painters apply premium paints using proven techniques to deliver a beautiful, long-lasting finish. Once the painting is complete, we handle the entire cleanup, remove all protective coverings, and return your furniture to its place. All that's left is for you to enjoy your freshly painted home!
